Amid supply chain concerns, Burt’s Reliable Has Your Home Heating Covered
These days, everyone is talking about the global supply chain. From computer chips to cream cheese, countless products face delays or outright shortages. With supply-chain problems and scarcity all over the news, many of our customers are asking if we have enough Bioheat fuel to keep them warm this winter.
We are happy to say that the tangled supply chain has not affected our supply. You can remain confident in Burt’s Reliable. There is no shortage of Bioheat fuel for us!
We maintain our own secure fuel-storage facilities
Burt’s Reliable has the largest fuel-storage facility on the North Fork of Long Island. We have a capacity of 95,000 gallons of Bioheat fuel storage, which we manage on-site. As a result, our drivers can handle deliveries throughout the community without long detours to refill their trucks.
It also means that we have ample supply when other companies run low. In 2012, we had sufficient storage in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. The current supply chain delays are no problem!
We have solid relationships with suppliers
Trust is important to us. Our customers rely on us to keep their homes warm, safe, and comfortable.
Similarly, Burt’s relies on our fuel suppliers, and we are proud of the strong relationships we’ve forged over 100 years in business. The trust we’ve built with our suppliers means we have plenty of fuel in storage long before winter, even if our competitors don’t.
Our Bioheat fuel is sustainable and efficient
Without a doubt, home energy has changed a lot. We always want to stay on the cutting edge of sustainable green energy. That’s why we proudly deliver ultra-low-sulfur Bioheat fuel with a B20 blend.
Our heating oil contains 20% biodiesel made from organic and recycled products, including soybean oil, used cooking oils, inedible corn oil, canola, tallow, fats, and algae. This percentage of biodiesel is far higher than other companies.
Not only is Bioheat better for the planet: it’s great for your pocketbook!
Bioheat improves the efficiency of your heating system, meaning you need to refill your tank less often. As a cleaner-burning oil, Bioheat reduces wear on your system. That means fewer service calls and a longer life for your boiler or furnace.
By using our B20 Bioheat fuel, you can also qualify for a 20¢-per-gallon credit on your New York State income taxes. On average, this saves customers $150 per year.
Rest assured, we’ll always have enough Bioheat fuel on hand, no matter how cold it gets. As we’ve done for many years, we will deliver power, comfort, and peace of mind to you.
If you are looking for additional confidence in your home’s Bioheat fuel supply, consider signing up for automatic deliveries. You’ll never have to make a last-minute delivery call again. Our professional staff is ready to answer your call and answer any questions you have.
